An Open Mind 2 a Colorful World....

I am just writing this poem off the top of my head
This isn't something i've rehearsed or read
This just a poem based on what's in my mind
Trying to figure out why simple things are so hard to find
I grew up in the 80's and saw entirely too much hate
There is still so much racism in the world, when will we reach the gate?
The gate, that behind it is stereotype and hatred free
Where people will really make a difference internationally
When will we see the day when a black man doesn't have to fear when he walks into a room full of white men
A day where a white female can dance and sing to r& b and hip-hop
She doesn't have to try twice as hard because of her color to be considered in the top
The day that people can get a equal opportunity to a job
Leaving no one homeless and maintaining by having to rob
Why is this so hard for people to accept or to look past the color of skin
Stop worrying about colors and start worrying about sin
Whether your black, white or any other race
No one is perfect so stop treating people badly because of the color of their face......
